The S&P Global Ratings international rating agency has raised the perspective for Sofia’s credit rating to positive from stable. 

The capital’s long-term credit rating is BBB-minus and is in the group of the “investment grade ratings”. This helps in raising cheaper financial resources for the реализиране of the capital’s funding program. Standard &Poor’s takes into account the good work of the municipal administration in maintaining financial stability and high level of own-source revenues of Sofia Municipality. 

Just a few days ago Standard &Poor’s has raised its perspective for the credit rating of our country to positive from stable, which allowed the perspective for Sofia Municipality’s rating to be raised as well.
