World Theater in Sofia

13th edition World Theater in Sofia is a platform which presents international theatre and dance productions. Meetings with the audience and students of art, screenings and critical debates are also organized. The main objectives of the platform are to demonstrate new theatrical and interdisciplinary forms; to present artists from the world, mainly European, stage; to establish contacts between foreign and Bulgarian artists; to create conditions for subsequent collaborations, training of professionals and amateurs; to build new audiences and provoke a critical debate on world / European theater and dance art practices.

Since 2011 the platform has been part of the Cultural Calendar of Sofia.
