Vitosha International Folklore Festival

The Vitosha International Festival of Folklore has over 20 year of history, attracting over 40 dance companies from all over the world. For five days in June the Bulgarian audience has the chance to encounter various kinds of cultural identities. The Festival takes place on different stages around the capital, as well as some smaller venues in the country.

June 26, 19:00 - National Palace of Culture, Grand Oppening of the festival.

                20:00 - National Palace of Culture, First competition evening for all companies.

June 27, 19:00  National Palace of Culture, second competition evening.

                19:00  second stage – Zname Na Mira Sq., Pavlovo

                19:00  third stage – Chitalishte Vitosha, 68 Suvorov Str. Pavlovo

June 28, 19:00  Third competition evening, National Palace of Culture

                19:00  second stage – Zname Na Mira Sq., Pavlovo

June 29, 19:00  National Palace of Culture, Fourth competition evening

June 30, 18:00  National Palace of Culture, Moma Vita I Momak Liulin competition.

                19:00  National Palace of Culture, Fifth competition evening.

                21:30  National Palace of Culture, Awards Ceremony with the participation of all companies. Let’s Dance Bulgarian Dances Together show.
