Romanian Church of the Holy Trinity

A parish church of the Patriarchate of Romania. It was built in 1901-1908 with donations by the Romanian community in Bulgaria and by the Romanian state.

Architect Grunanger, who was erecting the Synagogue at the same time, followed the traditions of Romanian church building of the 19th century.

The interior is richly decorated with murals, stained glass and ornaments in the neo-Byzantine style. Romanian artists made the wood-carved iconostasis and the icons therein.
