The implementation of the energy efficiency project of the existing high school building is to be launched this summer

The new wing of the building of the 9th French Language High School "Alphonse de Lamartine" has been constructively completed and the finishing works have begun. The construction of the gym has also started. The construction of the new building with classrooms and the gym and halls should be completed in the summer of next year. This will enable the school to move to a one-shift mode of studies. The information was delivered by the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova, who inspected the work on the site together with the Deputy Mayor responsible for construction Eng. Angel Dzhorgov, the municipal councilor Simeon Kolev, as well as the Director of the high school Emilia Bogdanova-Ivanova.

Currently, the rough construction of a school building and a sports complex has been completed, and plumbing and brickwork are being performed. The construction of the multifunctional gym is being prepared.

It is expected that the work on the implementation of energy efficiency measures in the existing high school building will begin this summer Activities for thermal insulation of walls, replacement of heating and electrical installation, lighting fixtures and setting up of evacuation lighting will be implemented.
