Обратно Sofia and Malta will cooperate in the fields of culture, tourism and education

On August 1, 2018, the capitals of Bulgaria and Malta - Sofia and Valletta - signed a cooperation agreement. The Deputy Mayor of Sofia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todor Chobanov signed the cooperation agreement with the Mayor of Valetta, Mr. Alexei Dingli.

The priority areas are culture, tourism, joint activities in the fields of science and education. Valletta is the European Capital of Culture for 2018 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
