‘Sofia is a development destination also for mass products. Your business is critical for our city’, said the Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova at the presentation of the product in the presence of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

The production in Sofia is increasing its nominal added value after a series of investments in new production installations and in existing ones in the field of car parts and other industries.

Fandakova pointed out that there are three factors we will continue to work on for development - better environment, administrative services and education.

Regarding the environment, we are implementing specific infrastructure projects, and we are also discussing a test track close to Sofia. We have a strong ambition to change administrative services - more electronic services, faster and more transparent service to citizens and businesses. Education is the key to success of both the city and the companies. The Prime Minister noted that the pace at which the automobile sector in Bulgaria is developing is very good and gave examples of the newly opened factories for production of automobile parts and software in Plovdiv, Dimitrovgrad and Rousse. Prime Minister Borisov stressed the need for collaboration with universities in order to have enough qualified engineers.
