On the eve of May 24th we welcome the holiday with a new building under construction of the First English Language School and 112th high school. The construction works will be completed by the end of July and during the year in which the First English Language School marks 60 years since its establishment, we will welcome the school year with a new four-story building. The above was announced by the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova during the inspection of the construction of the new facilities of First English Language School together with the deputy-mayor Irina Savina and the mayor of Oborishte discrict Vassil Tsolov.

The construction of the second stage of the new facilities will begin in the Summer – it will include 20 new school rooms and a new gymnasium. Part of the funds comes from the sale of the Municipal bank, said the mayor Fandakova.

The total amount of the investment made in the recent years in the building of the two schools is close to BGN 6 million.

The enlargement of the French High school is planned as well; it will include a sports hall. This year we will conduct repairs in 17 more schools and kindergartens. Three new kindergartens are under construction and the construction of 8 more will gradually commence.
