The meeting was also attended by Sofia’s Deputy Mayor of Finance Doncho Barbalov and the director of the Municipal Investments Agency Vladimir Danailov.
The company will cooperate with the Municipal Investments Agency in the development and implementation of future projects. The meeting with the Mayor of Sofia was organized upon invitation by the Swiss company, which has been working in Bulgaria’s capital for 24 years in the areas of software, IT technologies and human resources. The company employs 40 young qualified specialists and manages to recruit proper personnel, invest in their development and carry out socially-responsible activities.
Mayor Fandakova noted that in recent years it has been Municipality’s top priority to develop Sofia as a green and innovative city. We support investments, focused on the improvement of the environment, air cleanliness, transport and education. 45% of all the workforce in Sofia is employed in the IT sector, which is among the key sectors, suffering from shortage of human resources. Foreign investments in IT sector in 2015 reached EUR 216 mln.
