Обратно Night public transport starts in Sofia from April 7

From April 7, 2018, night public transport starts experimentally in Sofia.

It is organized in 4 bus lines that intersect in the city so that there will be a connection to all the neighbourhoods. Buses will run from 00:00 until 04:00 hours. The common stop to the four lines with numbers № 1, № 2, № 3 and № 4 will be at “Knyaz Alexander the First” Square.

The price of the night pass for all lines is BGN 2.00 and the buss conductors inside the vehicles will sell it.

Public transport vehicles will have distinctive signs for night transport, and the stops will be branded so that it is clear that the cars to make it clear that cars move through there. 

Line № 1 will run on the route "Lyulin 1, 2" to "Mladost 4".

Line № 2 will connect the Obelya district and residential area “Studentski Grad”.

Buss line № 3 will run between residential area "Ovcha Kupel 2" and residential area "Levski" (Bus station East), while buss line № 4 will connect residential area "Druzhba 2" and residential area "Gotse Delchev".

At all points of sale of transport documents there will be maps with the new route schemes.

In each buss, there is a video surveillance (CCTV), as well as a panic button for drivers and conductors.

A map of night public transport routes and timetables can be found at the points of the Urban Mobility Center as well as on the official websites of the Urban Mobility Center and Sofia Municipality.

For better information of citizens, signboards will also be placed.
