On October 20, a meeting between Bulgarian film experts, representatives of the French city of Enghien-les-Bains and of Sofia Municipality was held in Sofia Municipality.

The French guests were made familiar with the Film Strategy of Sofia Municipality 2017 - 2027, the work of the Film Commission at the Mayor of Sofia Municipality, data from the analysis of the cultural and creative industries in Sofia and the measures that Sofia Municipality has already undertaken to support these industries, in particular through the operation of the Sofia Culture Program, the Cultural Events Calendar of Sofia Municipality and the changes in the legal framework aiming to improve the conditions for development of the film industry in Sofia.

The French guests expressed interest in working jointly on the development of economic and cultural relations between Sofia - Creative City of UNESCO for Film and Enghien-les-Bains - Creative City of UNESCO for Digital Art

Dominique Roland, Chief Director of Enghien-les- Bains's Centre of Arts, Director of Enghien-les-Bains's Department of Digital Services, responsible for the digital arts of the city, and of the Enghien-les-Bains Strategy as a Creative City of UNESCO for Digital Art, invited representatives of Sofia and Sofia Municipality to participate in the Paris Image Digital Summit (January 24 - 27, 2018), as well as in the tenth edition of the Biennale Nationale des Arts Numériques / Festival Bains Numériques (13-17 June, 2018).
