Experience of Sofia in the field of environment protection, waste management, urban transport and tourism were the main topics of the talks between the Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova and the Mayor of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sinisa Milic. The Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality, Dr. Todor Chobanov also attended the meeting.

Mr. Milic is visiting Sofia and is interested in Sofia's projects for transport modernization and disclosure of the cultural and historical heritage. The two cities will work in partnership on joint projects.

Mayor Fandakova pointed out the priorities of the city's development - ecology, modernization of the urban transport, expansion of subway construction, which is a major transport and environmental project. Sofia Municipality invests municipal and European funds in the display of cultural and historical heritage in the city centre, under the Saint Sofia Church, which gave the name of the capital, the first archaeological park West Gate, the Neolithic settlement Slatina and the opening of the Sofia History Museum.
