Sofia Municipality has invested a total of 163 764 leva into the polyclinic

We have renovated the physiotherapy at the 14th outpatient clinic with modern equipment. “I congratulate the head of the policlinic – Dr. Dimov – following the renovation of the clinic the number of patients treated at the physiotherapy has increased twofold. The rhythmic gymnastics team is making its rehabilitation procedures at the 14th outpatient clinic as well”, said the Mayor of Sofia Municipality Yordanka Fandakova.

Sofia Municipality has invested a total of 163 764 leva into the polyclinic. Out of them almost 144 000 leva have been used to purchase 10 rehabilitation devices for continuous passive motion of knee and coxofemoral joint, ankle, shoulder joint, elbow joint, fingers and carpus. A traction therapy system for lumbar and cervical lobe, a shockwave therapy device, a targeted radiofrequency therapy device and an electro-galvanic bath tub have also been purchased.

Another 20 000 leva of the municipal budget have been invested into the delivery and installation of a boiler room for the central heating of the building.

The own investments of the 14th clinic amount to a total of almost 156 000 leva. The roof, the windows, the consulting rooms and the lavatories have all been renovated, new flooring has been installed. An echocardiograph with two transducers, an electromyograph and two holters, a physiotherapy laser and kinesitherapy accessories have been purchased, as well as ophthalmology devices.

For the past 4 years Sofia Municipality has financed clinics and hospitals with almost 55 million leva. More than 9.1 million leva of them especially for new equipment and repairs.

Almost 400 000 leva have been invested this year for the purchase of equipment and renovation of physiotherapy wards. The investments were made in 14th, 12th, 29th outpatient clinic and Second multiprofile hospital for active treatment.
