Today, in the Austrian capital, in the presence of the Mayors of Sofia and Vienna, Yordanka Fandakova and Michael Ludwig, was signed a City-to-City Agreement between Vienna Business Agency and Sofia Municipal Investment Agency. Gerhard Hirczi, Manager of Vienna Business Agency, and Vladimir Danailov signed the Agreement.  

The partnership between the two structures is crucial for the business development in Sofia and Vienna. Recently in Sofia, the Austrian company "Cargo Partners" launched its operations with an investment of EUR 22 million and 200 jobs. Three Bulgarian companies opened offices in Vienna this year. Today, 11 Bulgarian companies are visiting the Austrian capital, led by Sofia Municipal Investment Agency. They operate in the banking, finance and biotechnology sectors.
