In 2019 more participants, viewers and guests are expected to take part in the 36th edition of the marathon. This is one of the most popular events in Sofia and the whole country.

Most of the course runs through the heart of Sofia, through most of the city's historical sights.

There is enough place for spectators on the left and right side on the start .
