From September 28 to November 23, Sofia University’s Aula, “Bulgaria” Chamber and Symphonic Halls in Sofia

Within its 9th edition, Piano Extravaganza Festival will present seven piano recitals, two chamber music concerts, one jazz concert and the traditional “Open doors day”.
Since the first edition of the event, the ambition of the organizers has been to attract Bulgarian and international audience of classical music lovers who look for something different, offering them a truly unique program of concerts.

The musicians invited to perform at the Festival are internationally acclaimed artists with recognized craftsmanship in the field of rarely performed repertoire, or just innovative performers that wish to explore such a repertoire. As well the Festival’s programing, through the years, has made possible the appearance in Sofia of extraordinary stars of classical music.

Piano Extravaganza’s  priority is supporting young talents, including concerts of “Pancho Vladigerov” International Competition laureats and with a special educational event – Open Doors Day “Friends of the Piano”.

The festifal is part of the Calendar of Cultural Events of Sofia Municipality for 2019.
