Today, April 20, 2018, Stolichen Avtotransport EAD signed a contract for the supply of 20 single electric buses. By the end of October, the first 20 electric buses are expected to arrive in Sofia. Their technology is based on 324kW battery with slow charge that allows for travelling at least 300km with a single charge. Electric buses cover the highest technological criteria. They are low-floor and air-conditioned, equipped with ramps for the assistance of disabled persons, voice stop announcement system, video surveillance (CCTV) and wireless internet.
